Foligno (Fulginia, Fulginium or Fulginiae in Latin, Fuligni in fulginate) is the third city in Umbria; it is located in the centre of the Umbrian Valley and is crossed by the River Topino.

EVENTS: The main event of the city is the “Giostra della Quintana”, which takes place during June and September. Also worth mentioning is the “I primi D’Italia”, where all the Italian regions participate cooking their best typical dishes. This event takes place at the end of September.
